Just drive down the coastal road through the suburbs to Simonstown and where ever you see the traffic backed up and people driving onto the verge you will be sure to cite one of these magnificent mammals. Another good spot, particularly if you have binoculars, is to drive up Red Hill Road Simonstown where you will have the most magnificent vista of the entire bay and if the seas are calm you will be able to see the whales anywhere in the Bay.
