Still reading! Still writing! Am off to a few real estate activities today. I am really happy about it. It would be perfect, I'll go ahead and say it, PERFECT if only I could have a shower instead of kiddie bath. I am trying not to wish for the "other" too much. It does make me smile at myself how often I do! Even when I am out for a walk with John, which is pure happiness for me, I do catch myself wishing only that my parents or you were there too! That book I am reading is great about that. A guy from Vandy, he must be a great teacher, Peerman wrote it: "Blessed Relief: What Christians can learn from Buddhists about Suffering." Like it. Kat is going on his Kayak trip in Alaska this summer!

Peter & India - Lorain Giles, here, friend of Anne & Steve's in Lyme. We traveled around the world for 9 months, Sept. '05 - June '06, and were in a number of places you have visited. What prompts me to comment here is Tasmania. We were there for 5 days in a small RV, and stayed overnight in Devonport about a week before Christmas. While there we went to the most home-grown, fun, community outdoor carol-singing event you can imagine. A couple of days later we hiked to an overlook to see Wineglass Bay. The next day we spent a night at a campground in St Helen's, and it was there that we experienced the most spectacular beach/outcroppings/azure ocean. We also made the trip across Cradle Mountain -- and found the western coast of Tasmania very different from the northern & eastern coasts. Enjoy!
